Jessica J. Krant, M.D., M.P.H. is a board-certified NYC dermatologist specializing in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology, including
Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery. After graduating from Harvard College magna
cum laude, Dr. Krant attended Columbia University College of Physicians
and Surgeons, where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha Medical
Society Honors, receiving both an M.D. and a Master's Degree in Public Health.
Dr. Krant
completed her medicine internship at Lenox Hill Hospital and
dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. After
completing formal American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) fellowship
training, she is now a member of the ACMS.
Dr. Krant is a fellow
of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD), a diplomate of the
American Board of Dermatology, and a member of the American Society for
Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS). She also holds the position of Alternate Delegate
to the American Medical Association representing the ASDS, and participates annually in the
AAD's Washington Legislative Conference, during which invited dermatologists lobby
Congress for health system reform.
Dr. Krant serves on the Professional Conduct Committee of the ASDS, the State Policy Committee of the AAD, numerous other professional committees, and is a member of the New York and Westchester County Medical Societies as well as the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York.
